REPORT: WWE “Pleasantly Surprised” By Danhausen’s Merchandise Numbers

The “very nice, very evil” era of WWE is off to a lucrative start. Following his arrival at Elimination Chamber in Chicago, Danhausen has quickly proven to be a financial asset for the company. According to a report from PWInsider on Wednesday, WWE officials have been “pleasantly surprised” with the early sales figures his merchandise has generated in just a few days.

The star himself took to social media on Wednesday to celebrate his early commercial success. Danhausen confirmed that his debut t-shirt has claimed the top spot on WWEShop.com.

“Danhausens debut shirt is the top seller on @WWEShop go give Danhausen all of your human monies or face the same fate of Mysterious Dominik,” he wrote, referencing his ongoing narrative with the Mysterio family.

Danhausen’s in-ring and backstage presence has already shifted the landscape of Monday Night Raw. After a brief but memorable interaction with The Judgment Day during the March 2 episode in Indianapolis, Danhausen placed one of his trademark curses on Dominik Mysterio. The “curse” appeared to yield immediate results, as Mysterio dropped the Intercontinental Championship to Penta later that evening in a shocking upset.

Fans looking for more from the “Harbinger of Curses” won’t have to wait long. Danhausen is reportedly expected to be at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando this week, likely to further integrate into the company’s system. Furthermore, he is scheduled to be in Phoenix, Arizona, for this Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
