The ongoing issues between The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) and WWE continue.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Dawson hasn't been paid by WWE in 6 or 7 weeks. He added that The Revival has already been paid their downside guarantees.
This comes at a time where the former tag team champions are waiting out their current deals with the promotion to expire.
While Wilder's contract was originally set to expire at the first of April just like Dawson, Wilder will have to wait longer due to WWE adding time to his current deal because he missed dates as a result of being out of action with injuries.
While fans have speculated that Dawson is free to leave WWE now, he still has a few weeks left on his deal.
For months now, there has been speculation that once The Revival is free of their WWE deals, they will go to AEW.
The belief is that Wilder's contract expires in mid-June. It was noted by Meltzer that Dawson can't sign with AEW until Wilder is free of his WWE deal. Thus, Dawson will have to wait until June before he starts making money elsewhere, according to Meltzer.
It seems that WWE has no interest in using them since they won’t sign new deals. They last appeared on WWE television back on the February 7th episode SmackDown.
