It’s no secret that there are several wrestlers in WWE that are looking at their options now that All Elite Wrestling has officially launched with billionaire Tony Khan funding the company.
A report on Fightful.com states that there is concern in WWE about The Revival leaving the company.
“I’m careful to make sure not to say they outright asked for their releases, as I wasn’t told explicitly that’s what happened,” Sean Ross Sapp reported on Wednesday. He added that the company has reason to believe that they could be finishing up after a situation unfolded at Raw.
We don’t know details on the situation at Raw and WWE has not yet responded back to our inquiry about this story. It is worth noting that WWE is not quick to give early releases to talent so if they have significant time on their contracts then they may need to sit out for a while before they decide to move on to another company.
Despite their public back-and-forth on Twitter, The Revival and The Young Bucks are friends so it would make sense for them to sign with All Elite Wrestling whenever they are legally able to do so.
Dash Wilder’s last tweet was on Monday and it was a response to Maria Kanellis giving a warning after he and Matt Taven got into a Twitter war of words over the weekend.
