Fans have noticed that there is a lack of new content on WWE’s UpUpDownDown channel on YouTube and that’s reportedly due to the content creators stopping to produce content for it.
Fightful Select first reported that they want the company to give Xavier Woods a bigger financial piece of the pie. A new report noted Woods sees little to no additional money at all from UpUpDownDown. Instead, WWE applies it all towards his downside guarantee.
Fightful reported that this is the case for the rest of the regular cast as well and Woods had decided to hold out from creating content until he got a deal for it. This shocked people involved as they thought he was getting good money for it.
People close to the situation believe he’s “not seen an extra dime” from the channel. Also, it was clarified that WWE has always owned UpUpDownDown as at no point did Woods own it. In fact, it took a long time to green-light the project in general.
It was noted that there’s no heat on Woods on the booking side of things. Those who they reached out to within the company have taken Woods’ side on the matter.
