As seen on this week’s episode of Smackdown Live, Lana made her “debut” on the brand. She was part of the Superstar Shakeup but they held off on her debut for weeks. She had been working on her wrestling moves in Orlando during this time. The opening segment for this week’s Smackdown Live featured all of the women involved in the upcoming Women’s Money In The Bank match and Smackdown Women’s Champion Naomi. All of the women laughed at the idea of Lana being added to the MITB match and Shane McMahon scoffed at the idea of Lana challenging for Naomi’s title because she had defeated anyone and thus had not earned the opportunity.
Later, Lana interfered in a six-woman tag team match and caused Naomi to lose the match for her team. Towards the end of the show, Naomi demanded a match with Lana at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view. Shane McMahon granted her wish and the title will be on the line.
