The original Death of WCW, which won the 2005 Wrestling Observer Newsletter Best Book Award as voted upon by readers of the publication, has sold nearly 50,000 copies worldwide to date. There were far fewer wrestling books on the market when it was first being written, and as a result we were given a very strict word limit — which we did manage to surpass, but not by much. Now, ten years later and with brand new wrestling books coming out every year, we are not only re-publishing the book, but revising, updating and adding back in what we originally took out. At the end of the day, this book is over 40% larger than the original, checking in at a whopping 456 pages!
