Rey Mysterio addresses his pro wrestling future

Former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio will be remembered as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time when he decides to retire from the pro wrestling business after having a long and storied career.

Mysterio, who just lost to WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe in a quick match at WrestleMania 35 this past Sunday night, made an appearance on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio. During this interview, Mysterio admitted that he can’t see himself competing for much longer when asked about his future.

“I definitely don’t see myself doing this many more years longer.” Mysterio would then talk about the stars that he has faced such as Andrade and opportunities that he has gotten in his return to WWE.

“So, those kind of things bring the desire within me that I can still do this. I can still go. But if I was to do this on the schedule [that he used to have] I don’t think I could handle it.”
