Rey Mysterio has chimed in on Penta’s WWE in-ring debut on Monday’s episode of Raw, where he went over Chad Gable in a singles match.
After the match, Penta cut a passionate promo. As previously reported by PWInsider, Penta’s segment went longer than it was supposed to.
While speaking in an interview that aired during a commercial break on Raw, Mysterio was asked about Penta’s debut. The WWE Hall of Famer has been an advocate for Penta for years.
Mysterio said, “I’ve known Penta for quite some time now, and I’ve always envisioned Penta’s true home to be WWE. Well, he just went out there and proved to me and the whole world why he’s here.”
