The tentative plan for the big WrestleMania 32 announcement is for it to be on January 19. That is also the Royal Rumble go-home show and that is also the “Raw Reunion” show that will feature names from the past including Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and others. They are also promoting it as Hulk Hogan’s first appearance in Dallas in eight years and the main event is being billed as the biggest lumberjack (30 men) in the history of Dallas.
As previously noted, the creative team was told before Survivor Series to start working on a storyline for Rey Mysterio. There was talk on Figure Four Daily with Steve Sims that Mysterio had a change of heart and would be staying with the company. The storyline with Mysterio would have started at Survivor Series and culminated at WrestleMania. Well, Survivor Series has come and gone and the storyline is off. There is no word on what that means for Mysterio’s status with WWE.
