Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews Get Married

WWE’s Rhea Ripley and AEW’s Buddy Matthews have tied the knot.

The happy couple got married on June 23rd, with the announcement coming late Wednesday night. Ripley posted a photo of the couple on her Instagram page with the caption, “Til death. 🖤 23.06.24.”

They went public with their relationship two years ago before announcing their engagement last August. Both stars are Australian natives. Congratulations to the happy couple.

Mattews was last week in action when he worked the June 15 AEW Collision episode, with him scoring a win alongside Brody King and Malakai Black of House of Black over AEW Unified Trios Champions Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, and Juice Robinson in a non-title six-man tag.

Ripley has been sidelined since being attacked by Liv Morgan during a backstage altercation on the April 8th episode of Raw. Her recovery from the shoulder injury was estimated to take at least four months, leading her to relinquish the Women’s World Title, which Morgan later claimed from Becky Lynch.

The plan is for Rhea to resume her rivalry with Morgan upon her return. For the latest on her return, click here.
