Rhea Ripley: Giulia ‘Hasn’t Been Given Many Big Opportunities In WWE Yet’

Rhea Ripley believes Giulia is being underutilized on the WWE main roster and has spoken out about it publicly.

Speaking with Shak Wrestling, Ripley reflected on her recent SmackDown match with Giulia and made clear she thinks the two-time WWE Women’s United States Champion has not yet been given the opportunities her experience warrants.

“You go back, and you watch my match with Giulia. Giulia is new to the main roster, but she’s been at this for a long time. But she hasn’t been given many big opportunities in WWE yet. Yes, she might be the United States Champion, but she also hasn’t been given long matches on the main roster and that spotlight to really show that she can shine,” Ripley said.

Ripley also spoke about her own motivation going into their match, saying she wanted to make the most of the opportunity for Giulia’s benefit.

“I’m gonna go out there, I’m gonna bust my ass, and try and make her look good. And hopefully that opens up some more opportunities,” Ripley said.

Giulia does not have a match on the WrestleMania 42 card. Ripley challenges Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship on night two on April 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
