Rhea Ripley ‘Had The Wind Knocked Out Of Her’ During WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Match

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax took place at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in San Antonio, Texas, at the Frost Bank Center. The match’s finish saw Jax splash off the middle rope and then go for another one, but Rhea picked her up from behind and hit an electric chair. Rhea with the riptide for the win.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Ripley ‘had the wind knocked out of her’ during her match with Jax, but was ok after. It’s unclear which spot she had this happen to her. 

As of this writing, WWE has not announced anything involving Rhea for tonight’s Raw or the Royal Rumble this Saturday.
