In an exclusive for WrestlingNews.co, Emmy-nominated Producer/Host Emily Mae spoke with Rhea Ripley ahead of her match with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan at tonight’s SummerSlam PLE.
Ripley said when she returned to Raw a couple of weeks ago, she couldn’t fully take in the pop she got because she was fixated on getting to Liv Morgan. Ripley said she got to take things in the week after when she got to do her promo and the reaction made her feel loved and like she was missed.
Ripley said that certain people were “delusional” to think that there was a relationship between Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio.
Ripley said, “Him repetitively saying no to her and her just love bombing him every single week, to the point that she kissed my man. It’s the most disgusted that I’ve ever seen a man after kissing someone. I don’t know where people were getting this delusion from. I really don’t because he is so disgusted with her. He’s so over her antics. She keeps stealing his stuff, burning his stuff. Then she trashed our locker room. I mean, she trashed the PS5. Dom loves PlayStation. So like, that’s not gonna get him to like you. I feel very confident with Dom. Like I said, he finally had a go at her. He finally showed that man side that I know is there because we turned him, or I turned him into a man once we turned on his deadbeat dad. I knew that was there and I just needed to see it. That gave me all the confidence that he’s still my man, we’re still together, we’re still R + D and we’re still strong.”
