Ric Flair Diagnosed With Skin Cancer For Second Time In Three Years

Ric Flair has been diagnosed with skin cancer for the “second time in three years,” he revealed to PEOPLE magazine. “The Nature Boy” stated he will begin treatment for the condition next week.

“It’s the second time in three years that I’ve been dealing with skin cancer,” Flair said. “I will be undergoing treatment next week.”

Flair had initially denied reports of his diagnosis on X this past Thursday to maintain his privacy but confirmed he was now ready to share the news. This marks another serious health battle for the 16-time World Champion.

In August 2017, Flair was hospitalized and faced kidney failure and was close to congestive heart failure as a result of alcohol abuse. He was placed in a medically induced coma and given only a 20% chance of survival.

Flair later described that experience as unlike any other, stating, “Anything I’ve been through before is nothing like this.” Our thoughts are with Flair and his family at this time.
