Ric Flair had high praise for current TNA star Nic Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, during a recent interview. The “Nature Boy” highlighted Nemeth’s talent and value to any wrestling promotion.
Speaking to Casino Beats, Flair shared his admiration for Nemeth’s abilities inside the squared circle. He noted that if he were in charge of a wrestling company, Nemeth would be a focal point of the television product. “Dolph Ziggler is really underappreciated,” Flair said. “If I were booking him, I’d have him on TV every single week. He’s really good.”
Flair has been a longtime supporter of Nemeth, often citing him as one of the best workers in the industry. Nemeth left WWE in September 2023 after a nearly 20-year run with the company. Since his departure, he has found significant success globally, capturing the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship in NJPW, the AAA Mega Championship, and the TNA World Championship in 2024.
He made a shocking return to WWE television on the November 17 episode of Monday Night Raw, revealed as the mystery opponent for Solo Sikoa in the “Last Time Is Now” tournament. Despite a strong effort, Nemeth lost the match after Sikoa hit the Samoan Spike.
Ziggler remains under contract with TNA, where he can be seen every Thursday night on TNA Impact, airing on AXS TV.
