Ric Flair: “I will never retire”

Ric Flair continues to fuel the rumors about an in-ring return after he parted ways with WWE earlier this month.

These rumors started when Booker T noted on his podcast that he talks to Flair on a regular basis and he is under the impression that Flair wants one more run. The WWE Hall of Famer also shared a photo of himself in the gym.

Flair took to Twitter to share a video clip of a promo about how he will never retire and he will only retire when he’s dead in the ring. He also wrote in the caption, “I Will Never Retire! WOOOOO!”

Flair retired from in-ring action under the WWE banner in 2008 at WrestleMania 24 after losing to Shawn Michaels. While Flair didn’t want to retire at the time, Vince McMahon thought Flair was too old to wrestle. Thus, the decision was made for him.

Two years later in 2010, Flair went to TNA where he worked some matches with his last bout coming in 2011. He would return to WWE to make various appearances and be used in storylines. However, WWE was careful to avoid him taking any bumps due to his health.
