Ric Flair is ‘pretty sure’ that Hulk Hogan will be at Starrcast V but not wrestling

On the latest “To Be The Man” podcast on, Ric Flair and Conrad Thompson addressed the rumor about Hulk Hogan. On Monday, Brian Blair stated that Hogan would be coming out of retirement for one more match with Flair. Blair then backtracked and said that it was just something he heard on the internet.

Flair and Thompson said that Hogan was never booked to wrestle but Flair expects Hogan to be at Starrcast V in Nashville.

Thompson said, “Here we are talking about what’s causing all this Ric. Another week has gone by and you have captivated the internet. There’s so much speculation unbelievably. I saw yesterday that people think you’re gonna be wrestling Hulk Hogan…I mean, I know we’re saying it’s a who’s who and there’s gonna be big surprises but goodness gracious I don’t think it’s gonna be even Hulk Hogan. Did I miss that?”

Flair said, “Not that I know. I think you would have run that by me…He’s invited. I’ve talked to him personally to come to the roast and come watch the match. But yeah, he hasn’t confirmed for sure but I’m pretty sure he’ll be there.”

Thompson then went on to plug the different events happening during Starrcast weekend:

“It’s gonna be a who’s who [at] Starrcast at the end of July. We’ll get things kicked off on the 29th with the roast of Ric Flair. We’re doing an unbelievable horseman reunion on Saturday the 30th and then of course, I can’t believe this is a real thing. Ric Flair is going to walk that aisle one last time on Sunday, July 31 under the banner of Jim Crockett Promotions. Bracelets are on sale to attend all the panels and the roast right now at One gold bracelet gets you access to all of those events. Plus you get access to meet all your favorite superstars for the meet and greets and what have you. But man the big talk Tickets go on sale this Friday.”
