WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair will have to make an interesting decision soon.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that although there were rumors that Flair had signed a new deal with WWE, that is not the case. The speculation started due to him pulling his merch from Pro Wrestling Tees starting next month.
In fact, the reason his merchandise was pulled was due to his own team looking at other businesses offers to be able to carry the merchandise.
The interesting part of this report is that Flair’s WWE deal expires right around the end of the year. It’s worth noting that Flair is good friends with AEW President Tony Khan as Khan was an invited guest to his wedding.
Although not confirmed, the belief is that WWE will make a good offer to Flair in order to keep him under contract and avoid the possibility of Flair going to AEW.
Flair has been with WWE since he left TNA Wrestling in 2012.
