WWE finalized Team Raw for the Men’s Traditional 5-on-5 Elimination Triple Threat at the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view on Monday night.
The team features Seth Rollins, Ricochet, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and Drew McIntyre. They will battle Team SmackDown and Team NXT at the show.
Ricochet was interactive with fans on social media after noting that being part of the team might be bad news for him.
He originally wrote, “Aww man, between Drew and Randy, maybe even Owens. I feel like this is gonna be bad news for me.”
This led to some negative fan reactions online about Ricochet being on the team because of his win-loss record in WWE, which is where he showed standings of these stats.
He wrote, “For people who are wanting to know why I got added to the #SurvivorSeries team over others. Maybe it’s because I have the best win-loss on Raw? Not a brag, but a visualization of years of hard work and dedication to my craft. This is something I do not take for granted.”
Finally, a fan mentioned how wins and losses won’t truly matter in WWE. The fan also expressed interest in seeing Ricochet challenge for a more important title such as Brock Lesnar’s WWE Title.
Ricochet brought up how long he’s been on the main roster and the things he’s accomplished thus far.
“My guy, you gotta remember I just got here not even a year ago and I plan on being here a long time. I feel like I’ve accomplished a lot in 9 months. So just relax, I’ve got this. It’s all apart of the plan,” Ricochet wrote.
WWE presents the Survivor Series pay-per-view event on Sunday, November 24, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena that will air on the WWE Network.
