Riddle has shared an injury update on his tag team partner Randy Orton.
Orton has been dealing with a back injury for a while now and hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since he and Riddle lost a Winner Takes All WWE Undisputed Tag Team Title bout to The Usos on SmackDown in May.
As previously reported, WWE fears Orton could be out of action for the rest of 2022 due to this injury.
While speaking with ProSieben MAXX, Riddle noted that Orton is still recovering but hopes to see him back in action shortly.
“Randy is still recovering from his injuries, and hopefully, he’ll be back sooner than later. You know I can’t give more of an update because I’m not a doctor, and I don’t have one. I know Randy’s in high spirits for sure, and he’s doing well.”
Riddle is slated for a one-on-one matchup with Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
