Luke Menzies, known in WWE as Ridge Holland, provided a detailed look at his recent medical procedures and ongoing recovery. Speaking on The Mike Rand Show, Menzies noted that he has undergone several surgeries since late 2025, including work on his foot and neck. He described the period as mentally and physically challenging due to his active nature and the need to rely on others during his rehabilitation.
“I’m feeling really good, honestly, tons better than what I was obviously,” Menzies stated. “I had the foot surgery in early October, and then I had the dual cervical disc replacement in early November, and then just this past Friday, I had the hardware taken out of the foot. So fingers crossed. That’s the last time I’m going to get cut for a while, I’m kind of over surges. I feel like I’ve donated my body to medical science recently. So yeah, but I’m feeling good man, optimistic about the future.”
Advanced Medical Procedures
The neck injury had been a lingering issue for approximately eight months prior to his foot injury. After traditional treatments like injections and physical therapy failed to provide relief, imaging revealed weakness and atrophy in his right arm. Menzies sought a specialist in Manhattan for a cervical disc replacement rather than a fusion to maintain his mobility.
Menzies noted that the symptom resolution was immediate upon waking from the neck procedure. While the neck recovery has been straightforward, he described the foot injury as more intricate due to the involvement of multiple joints and the necessity of surgical hardware. With the hardware now removed, he expects to progress more rapidly through his physical therapy.
Current Status and Future Outlook
As of today, Menzies currently has no plans to return to a major wrestling promotion as he prioritizes his health and family. He has spent his time away from the ring focusing on online coaching for businessmen through a company called Silverback.
