Ridge Holland Posts Injury Update

Following a successful operation for a Lisfranc foot injury, WWE’s Ridge Holland has provided a positive update on his condition through the social media platform X.

Holland sustained the injury during a guest appearance at a TNA television taping while competing in a match against Moose. The bout was abruptly stopped and declared a no-contest after Holland was unable to continue due to the injury. It was later confirmed that he had undergone surgery to repair the damage.

He said, “The foot’s kind of recovering pretty well. Hopefully, I can get back into the gym Monday. I get a cast put on Thursday.”

A former professional rugby league player, Holland signed with WWE in 2018 and began his career in NXT. He was called up to the main roster in 2021, where he was part of “The Brawling Brutes” faction alongside Sheamus and Pete Dunne, before returning to NXT in late 2023. His career has been marked by what he calls a “bumpy ride” with injuries. In March 2024, Holland was part of a storyline where he announced he was stepping away from in-ring competition indefinitely for his mental health. Before his most recent injury, he had just begun making appearances for TNA, including a match against Mike Santana at the Victory Road event.
