WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has confirmed that he would be willing to return to the company to take on a role as “The Wise Man” for a unified Bloodline faction. The patriarch of the Fatu family addressed the frequent fan speculation on his podcast, stating that he would do it for the fans, but the creative would have to be right.
“Without a Doubt”
For years, many in the WWE Universe have hoped to see Rikishi join his sons, The Usos and Solo Sikoa, and his nephew, Roman Reigns, on television. On the Rikishi Fatu Off The Top Podcast, he was asked if he would consider the role if a full Bloodline reunion were to happen.
A Message to the Fans
Rikishi made it clear that while he is open to the idea, he would not want to just be “thrown in.” He then called on the fans to make their voices heard if they truly want to see him back on WWE programming.
“Without a doubt. Without a doubt. Like I said, you know, anything I can do to be able to be there to support, you know, the family, you know, and it’s got to be right. You know what? I mean, I just don’t want to be that person just thrown in, right? But we, you know, definitely got to be hands-on. How you gonna bring me in? And you know that part right there. But, yeah, man, I do it for the fans. Yes, at the fans, you know? I mean, they want me to [come] back. Hey, I need to hear it. I need to see it. I need to see it. I need to feel it. You know, I need to see your signs up there on Monday Night Raw. I need to see your sign-off, SmackDown. Bring back Rikishi. That’s what. I need to see it. And then once that, you know, things like that, start to happen, I can see the fans. Because when the WWE Universe speaks, the fan speaks man, it happens real quick. And so, yeah, I’m down to be able to, you know, be part of the original bloodline crew. And, you know, be that wise man, or, you know, whatever the part that, you know, the tribal chief wants me to be through, you know, standing down, you know, stand on business. Hey, I’m there. Man.”
