Road Warrior Animal was reportedly dealing with heart and kidney issues

There are few more details coming out on Road Warrior Animal, who passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday night at the age of 60.

Animal’s death was a shock to many because he seemed healthy and he had just done an interview with Hannibal TV just a few months ago and was talking about wanting to get back into the gym so he could work out.

During the latest Bruce Michell Audio show on the PWTorch website, it was noted that Animal had some health issues.

Mitchell said, “I just really thought he was going to – he always looked healthy. And you can’t tell, I’m not a doctor and I don’t know any doctor that can look at someone and say health to it. Now looking back and understand and I’m not surprised that he had some heart issues, he had some kidney issues. We’ll talk about this too because he’s part of that generation that came up and really part of that Minnesota Gramma B’s (bar) generation and now you look [at who’s left] and you [see] Nikita Koloff and that’s about it that’s left and they paid such a price and there’s reasons why and choices they made.”

We spoke with someone who knew Animal and they had spoken with him several weeks ago and there were no signs that anything was wrong with him.
