WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam and his wife Katie Forbes have officially announced the birth of their twin daughters. The couple took to social media to share the news that their children arrived on December 26, 2025.
A Tribute To A Legend
Van Dam revealed the names of the newborns in his post, confirming a touching tribute to his longtime friend and tag team partner. “12/26/2025-Karma and Saba have officially left the womb,” Van Dam wrote.
When asked by fans about the significance of the name Saba, Van Dam confirmed that she was named after ECW legend Sabu, who passed away earlier this year.
Christmas Arrival Following Complications
The couple originally announced in June that they were expecting the twins to arrive in 2026. However, complications arose when Forbes developed preeclampsia, a condition characterized by high blood pressure and placental issues. Doctors made the decision to deliver the babies early at 34 weeks, resulting in a Christmas arrival for the family.
Current Status
Both Van Dam and Forbes remain active in the professional wrestling industry, though they have been away from the ring recently due to these personal circumstances. Van Dam has been sidelined since suffering broken heels during the Battle Riot match for MLW in April. Forbes has not wrestled since March due to her pregnancy. Van Dam continues to host his weekly podcast, 1 Of A Kind, where he discusses his career and current wrestling topics.
