Although former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam is under contract with Impact Wrestling right now, the promotion did allow him to make a special appearance on the Raw Reunion episode last week.
Sami Zayn was battling Rey Mysterio until he tried walking to the back when RVD, Sgt. Slaughter, Kurt Angle, and The Hurricane appeared. This led to Rey getting the win.
RVD took to his official Instagram account to thank both WWE and Impact Wrestling for letting him be a part of the Raw Reunion special. He wrote the following:
“Thank you @paulheyman and @wwe and @impactwrestling for the opportunity to once again stoke the fans of everyone’s favorite wrestler and Mr. Monday Night… ROB…well, you know the rest. This me and Katie.”

RVD made his return to Impact Wrestling alongside longtime friend Sabu as they worked the “United We Stand” event on April 4th during WrestleMania from the Rahway Recreation Center in Rahway, New Jersey against the Lucha Bros.
The future WWE Hall of Famer has since signed a contract with Impact and regularly works their weekly television show.
