The Rock And Logan Paul Squashed Their Beef

Logan Paul has apologized after sharing a private video message he received from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, which confirmed that the two are once again friends after a public falling out years ago. Paul, who has made a successful transition into WWE, shared a portion of the video on his YouTube channel before realizing his mistake and stopping the playback. Johnson sent the clip to wish Paul well ahead of his interview with film director Benny Safdie, who directed Johnson’s new film, The Smashing Machine.

In the video message, Johnson shared his support for Paul and his friendship with Safdie. “Yo, my brother, I know I look super cool right now. Brother, I know you’re doing Benny Safdie today, I’m so happy that you’re going to meet him,” Johnson said. “That’s my guy, that’s my brother and he changed my life and I just want you to know that and you guys are going to have an amazing talk. I told Benny how much man I just love you and you guys are going to have a great talk”. After playing the clip, Paul quickly cut it off and apologized for sharing the private message. “I’m just going to listen to the rest of this off camera,” Paul said. “Sorry, I shouldn’t have filmed it. I was just very excited, Dwayne Johnson he’s been very nice to me recently”.

The friendly exchange marks a turnaround in their relationship, which soured in 2017 following the backlash Paul received for filming a suicide victim during a trip to Japan. At the time, Johnson, who had previously collaborated with Paul on several videos, publicly cut ties with the YouTube star and requested that all of their shared content be deleted.

Johnson is currently promoting his role as MMA fighter Mark Kerr in The Smashing Machine, which is set for release on October 3. While Johnson is focused on his Hollywood career, Logan Paul recently got married and is coming off a loss to John Cena at Clash in Paris.
