The Rock Reveals His Favorite WWE Insult Of All Time

The Rock is a master of the microphone, a man who has created some of the most iconic and memorable catchphrases in the history of professional wrestling. From “If you smell what The Rock is cooking” to “Finally… The Rock has come back to…,” his words have electrified millions (and millions) of fans around the world. But of all the insults he has hurled at his opponents, which one is his personal favorite?

In a recent interview on the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce, “The Great One” revealed the one insult that he considers to be the “greatest of all-time.” And no, it’s not “it doesn’t matter!” The Rock’s favorite insult is a bit more direct.

“The greatest Rock insult of all-time is, ok, The Rock says — take your opinion that the winner of the Super Bowl will be the Kansas City Chiefs, you roll it up, you roll that sumb**ch sideways and stick it straight up your candy ass! That was a crazy insult. I remember, (people) were like ‘where did this come from?’ And I was like, telling someone to stick something up their ass is an insult, but when you turn it sideways, it’s a whole different thing,” The Rock explained.

During the wide-ranging interview, which also covered topics like being a “girl dad” and the pressures of fame, The Rock also offered his critique of Jason Kelce’s appearance at WrestleMania 40 in his hometown of Philadelphia. “I’ll give it a 9.9,” he said. “The idea that a celebrity or someone who is at the top of their game. Someone who is the greatest like you (Jason Kelce). Anytime someone comes into the world of pro wrestling, it’s the greatest thing to us. Doesn’t matter how big the wrestling world has become.”

The Rock’s last in-ring appearance for WWE came earlier this year when he aligned himself with John Cena at the Elimination Chamber, where Cena turned heel. While he did not appear at WrestleMania, his involvement in the storyline was a significant part of the build. With WrestleMania 42 also scheduled to take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in April 2026, the door is always open for another return from “The People’s Champion.” However, he has not been officially announced for that or any other upcoming WWE shows at this time.
