Roman Reigns To Address Paul Heyman, CM Punk Kicks Off Tonight’s Stacked WWE Raw

WWE has announced a loaded lineup for tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw. The show will feature Roman Reigns addressing Paul Heyman for the first time since his return, CM Punk kicking off the broadcast to discuss his SummerSlam main event, and a major championship match.

The OTC Returns to Raw

Following his explosive and shocking return on last week’s episode, Roman Reigns will be live on Raw tonight to address his former Special Counsel, Paul Heyman. Reigns returned last week to save his cousin Jey Uso and CM Punk from an attack by the faction led by Seth Rollins.

Championships and Contenders

The show will be kicked off by CM Punk, who will be in the ring to discuss his upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match against the dominant champion, Gunther, at SummerSlam.

In a major title bout, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, will defend their titles against the newly formed team of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Also, new contenders for the World Tag Team Championship will be decided in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match, as The LWO (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro), The Creed Brothers, and The New Day will clash for the right to face champions Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh.

SummerSlam Build and Grudge Matches

The build to SummerSlam will continue as Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch has a “proposal” for her challenger, Lyra Valkyria, ahead of their title showdown at the premium live event.

In a hard-hitting affair, Sheamus will look for payback as he takes on Rusev in a huge rematch. Rusev has been dominant since his return, including a victory over “The Celtic Warrior” in June.

Finally, a heated rivalry will come to a head when Sami Zayn steps into the ring with Karrion Kross. Kross has tormented Zayn for months and blindsided him with a steel pipe during his last televised appearance, daring him to embrace his inner darkness.

Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw airs at 8 PM ET live on Netflix. The show will continue the final build to the two-night SummerSlam premium live event, which takes place on August 2 and 3 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
