Roman Reigns will be back on WWE television earlier than originally expected.
His last match was at Crown Jewel, where he beat LA Knight to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Title earlier this month. It marked his first televised match since SummerSlam, as he didn’t work Payback and Fastlane.
Reigns was not booked for last Saturday’s Survivor Series as the belief was he would remain off television for the rest of the year and be back on television for the start of the build to the Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from Tampa, FL, at Tropicana Field.
Change in plans
That’s no longer the case, as WWE announced Reigns for SmackDown shows on December 15 in Green Bay, WI, January 5 in Vancouver, BC, and January 19 in Atlanta, GA.
It’s possible that Reigns will be announced for more shows in early 2024.
