Roman Reigns Confirmed For Big WWE Show

An update has been revealed regarding the return of Roman Reigns, who has been absent from WWE television for over three weeks. Reigns is now officially advertised for the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel premium live event on October 11, which will take place at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. The news was confirmed when WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H took to Twitter to reveal the official poster for the event, which features “The Tribal Chief”.

Reigns has been off WWE programming since the Clash in Paris event on August 31, where he was stretchered out of the arena following a post-match attack by The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. While initial reports had suggested his absence would last approximately four weeks, WWE had not officially confirmed a return date until the release of the Crown Jewel poster.

During his time away from the ring, Reigns has been in Australia filming his role as the character Akuma in the upcoming live-action “Street Fighter” movie, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 16, 2026. Reigns being in the country for filming makes his return at the Perth-based event a logical choice. The official poster for Crown Jewel also features several of WWE’s other top stars, including Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, John Cena, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, and Rhea Ripley.

The event is a key part of WWE’s long-term partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, though this year’s show is being held in Australia, marking a significant international stop for the company. The Crown Jewel name has become a staple of WWE’s annual calendar since the partnership began in 2018.

Before his storyline injury, he was embroiled in a feud with The Vision, a dominant faction on the Raw brand. His return at Crown Jewel will likely see him try to get revenge on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed for their attack in Paris.
