Roman Reigns gives high praise to Buddy Murphy after SmackDown match

Roman Reigns has offered some high praise to Buddy Murphy.

As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena on the USA Network, “The Big Dog” beat the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion in a hard-fought battle. This served as the post-SummerSlam edition of SmackDown.

It also marked Murphy’s first SmackDown TV match since coming to the blue brand from 205 Live in the Superstar Shakeup. In recent weeks, Murphy has received more television time as part of the Reigns mystery attacker storyline.

He also worked against Apollo Crews on Sunday’s SummerSlam Kickoff show was attacked by Rowan for the disqualification.

Reigns wrote the following on his official Twitter account:

“Meant every word I said about @WWE_Murphy in the ring. He said he wanted a fight and he got one. Tonight was my night, but I’m sure it won’t be the last time I’ll stand across from you. #SDLive #SecretsOut.”
