WWE top star Roman Reigns could be making a big move to the movie screen soon. According to a report from Matt Grobar of Deadline, Reigns is currently in discussions to star in a new live-action “Street Fighter” film. This project would be based on the globally popular video game series.
The report also mentions that other well-known actors, including Andrew Koji, Jason Momoa, and Noah Centineo, are also said to be in talks for roles in the upcoming movie. At this time, not many specific details about the new “Street Fighter” film have been made public, but Legendary Entertainment holds the rights to produce it.
Deadline’s report provided some background on the WWE Superstar: “A pro wrestler born Leati Joseph Anoa’i with one of the longest world title reigns in the history of the WWE, Reigns has previously made appearances in films like Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and The Wrong Missy. He is repped by Bad Toro and Torres Benet.”
This news about a potential major film role for Reigns comes as he has been absent from WWE television programming. He was last seen by WWE fans on the episode of WWE Raw immediately following WrestleMania 41 in April 2025, when he was attacked and laid out by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker.
