Roman Reigns has been removed from WWE’s official advertising for all four June episodes of Monday Night Raw, just over two weeks after the World Heavyweight Champion publicly committed to a full-time summer schedule.
Reigns had been listed on WWE.com for eight straight Raw dates following his WrestleMania 42 win over CM Punk: May 4 in Omaha, Nebraska; May 11 in Knoxville, Tennessee; May 18 in Greensboro, North Carolina; May 25 in Columbus, Ohio; June 1 in Turin, Italy; June 8 in Paris, France; June 15 in Baltimore, Maryland; and June 22 in London, England. Reigns is no longer listed for any of the four June shows on the company’s official website. The updated June promotional graphic for Raw also no longer features Reigns.
The change comes just two weeks after Reigns explicitly addressed his schedule on the WrestleMania 42 post-show. Asked by Corey Graves about his future and met with “part-timer” chants from fans in attendance, Reigns said:
“I’m gonna take y’all to Monday Night Raw tomorrow night. All this part-time crap? We’re gonna fix that. Y’all better make some room, because y’all gonna see my ass all summer.”
Reigns has worked a reduced schedule since dropping the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024.
On the April 20 Raw in Las Vegas, he reunited with The Usos in his first appearance as World Heavyweight Champion before being interrupted by Jacob Fatu, who challenged him for the title. He accepted the challenge on the April 27 episode in Laredo, Texas, after Fatu attacked him with the Tongan Death Grip. The two meet at WWE Backlash on May 9 at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida — the first one-on-one match between the cousins.
Three of the four June Raw episodes are overseas — June 1 in Turin, June 8 in Paris, and June 22 in London — with June 15 in Baltimore between the European dates. SummerSlam is scheduled for August 1-2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
Reigns’ current World Heavyweight Championship reign began on April 19 at Allegiant Stadium when he pinned Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 42 Night 2. WrestleMania 42 was Reigns’ 11th headline appearance at the event. The win marked his seventh world title in WWE and his first championship reign since the Undisputed WWE Championship loss to Rhodes 24 months earlier.
