Roman Reigns May Be Doing Something He Hasn’t Done In Years At Next Year’s WWE Royal Rumble

Roman Reign is starting to be announced for several WWE events.

Reigns and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will team together to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood this Saturday.  Reigns is advertised for the Survivor Series event in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on November 30, where he is rumored to be working the WarGames match.

WWE announced earlier this week that tickets for Royal Rumble 2025, slated for Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, will go on sale Friday, November 15 at 10am ET/7am PT via Ticketmaster.com.

The first promotional material for the event is out, with Reigns listed alongside several top stars. This confirmed that WWE is currently planning for Reigns to be at the show.

However, what he would be doing was speculated. WrestleVotes was asked during a Q&A on SportsKeeda’s WrestleBinge YouTube channel about whether Reigns will be in the Royal Rumble Match since he’s featured on the poster. WrestleVotes noted that Reigns may be working the Royal Rumble Match, something he hasn’t done since 2020.

“Good question. It’s hard to say that is what the indication is for. The signs clearly are there because of the design of the poster that he’s working the event. It seems to be and just from just the short questions that I asked that I got back, he’s probably more likely to be in the Rumble for the first time in a while as opposed to a singles stand-alone match…All I can say is Roman’s on the Rumble poster, likely to be in the Rumble match. You can draw your own conclusions from there [regarding a third match with Reigns at WrestleMania.”
