Roman Reigns Not Written Off WWE TV, Advertised For August 18 Raw

Despite a brutal three-on-one assault to close Monday Night Raw that appeared to write him off television, Roman Reigns is now being advertised for the August 18 episode of Monday Night Raw. The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia announced the appearance via X.

The announcement comes as a surprise to many fans who witnessed the vicious attack on Reigns this past Monday night. The show ended after he was hit with a Stomp from World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, a spear from Bron Breakker, and three Tsunami splashes from Bronson Reed. In a final act of disrespect following the assault, Bronson Reed once again stole Reigns’ sneakers before leaving the ring with his faction.

Reigns’s expected hiatus from WWE is due to his filming schedule for a major role in the upcoming Street Fighter movie. While the on-screen attack on Raw was seen as a way to write him off television for an extended period, his advertised return on August 18 suggests he will continue his storyline with Seth Rollins’s faction before taking a longer leave for his acting commitments.

His return on August 18 will likely be to address the attack from Rollins, Breakker, and Reed. Check out the tweet below for ticket information for the 8/18 Raw in Philly. Reigns is also advertised for Survivor Series in November.
