WWE Monday Night Raw airs live tonight from TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, at 8 PM ET on Netflix. With WrestleMania 42 now less than four weeks away, tonight’s show features two title matches, a returning Brock Lesnar, and the continued build between Roman Reigns and CM Punk.
Brock Lesnar Returns After Oba Femi Attack
Brock Lesnar returns to Raw one week after Oba Femi answered his open WrestleMania challenge by hitting him with the Fall from Grace and standing over him. The match between the two is now official for WrestleMania 42. How Lesnar responds to being taken out for the first time in the buildup will be a key moment in establishing the stakes for the match.
Roman Reigns and CM Punk Under One Roof
World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Roman Reigns will both be in the building tonight following last week’s exchange in San Antonio. Punk threw the first punch to close the show after weeks of verbal sparring. The question heading into Boston is how Reigns responds to Punk escalating the rivalry from words to physicality.
Intercontinental Championship: Penta (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio
Penta defends the Intercontinental Championship against former champion Dominik Mysterio. Dominik has been determined to reclaim the title since losing it earlier this month. The match was confirmed by Adam Pearce on social media on Sunday.
The Usos vs. Logan Paul and Austin Theory
World Tag Team Champions Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso take on Logan Paul and Austin Theory of The Vision. Paul Heyman has directed Theory and Paul to focus on acquiring the tag team titles, making this match a significant step in that direction. The pairing of Paul and Theory under Heyman’s guidance has been a developing storyline as the WrestleMania build continues.
Becky Lynch Addresses AJ Lee Attack
Becky Lynch will address her blindside attack on Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee from last week’s Raw. The segment is expected to set the stage for a championship match between the two at WrestleMania 42. Lee won the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber.
Je’Von Evans vs. Grayson Waller
Je’Von Evans returns to singles action against Grayson Waller. Evans had a tense backstage encounter with Waller and Kofi Kingston last week, which led to Waller being cursed by Danhausen. Evans has been positioned as one of the top young prospects on the Raw roster heading into WrestleMania season.
Bayley and Lyra Valkyria vs. The Kabuki Warriors
Bayley and Lyra Valkyria team up to take on Asuka and Kairi Sane. Bayley came up short against AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship but received a pep talk from Valkyria that has both women motivated to earn their way to WrestleMania.
