Roman Reigns Reaches Incredible WWE Milestone

Roman Reigns has been on an unbelievable run over the last few years after reinventing himself as “The Tribal Chief,” where he has held the Universal Championship for nearly two years and the WWE Title for over a year.

Reigns won a Triple Threat Match at WWE Payback 2020 over Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt to win the WWE Universal Championship. Since then, he has defended the title against the likes of Daniel Bryan, Edge, Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, Cesaro, Finn Balor, John Cena, Goldberg, Sami Zayn, Matt Riddle, and others.

Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Universal Championship with the WWE Championship to become the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion last year at WrestleMania 38.

At next Saturday’s Money in the Bank PLE, Solo Sikoa will team Reigns to take on The Usos in a tag team match that is being hyped as the Bloodline Civil War.

Reigns has reached a new milestone as he surpassed the world title reign of Pedro Morales, which lasted 1027 days as Reigns has now been champion for 1,029.

He is still behind Hogan’s reign from 1984-1988, which lasted 1,474 days, Bob Backlund’s first reign, and Bruno Sammartino’s two reigns as champion, the longest of which ran for 2,803 days.
