Although Performance Center recruits and some NXT stars have the option to wear masks while working as fans in attendance for WWE TV tapings, wrestlers cannot while working in the ring.
However, Jey Uso got creative while being part of the final segment on Friday’s episode of SmackDown. He did so by using his bandana that he typically wears as a way to cover up his face.
Some fans picked up on this move. In fact, Uso took to his official Instagram account to post a clip of himself on the show where he wrote the following in the caption:
“Bruh y’all still don’t get it huh???!!! #IaintGettinDaRona #CaronaVirusVirus.”
As seen below, in the comments of the post, Roman Reigns, who is related to The Usos, reacted to the move by writing, “I get it.”
Of course, the former WWE Champion made the decision to go on hiatus from WWE to be with his family as his wife had given birth to twins. Reigns recently opened up on taking precautionary measures while the world deals with COVID-19. For more on that, click here.
