Tonight on WWE Raw, it was announced that Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be appearing on Friday Night SmackDown.
Reigns has not been appearing on TV every week since his schedule has been reduced. The last time he appeared on the show was to defend his title against Matt Riddle on the June 17th episode. The match drew a big number and it was the highest-rated show in months.
Reigns is scheduled to defend his title against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam in Nashville on Saturday, July 30. They will face off in a Last Man Standing Match. Reigns defeated Lesnar during their previous match at WrestleMania 38. Reigns will be on the show to hype his match with Lesnar. There is no word yet on if Lesnar will be appearing on the show.
Other than the Reigns segment, the only other thing announced for SmackDown is Max Dupri’s Maximum Male Models showing off their tennis wear collection. The stable that includes Mace and Mansoor debuted on last week’s show.
