Roman Reigns Set To Work A Rare WWE TV Match

Roman Reigns’ schedule with WWE has greatly been reduced in recent years as he signed his latest deal with the company in 2022, calling for him to make fewer appearances on TV and work fewer matches per year.

Since that time, he has only worked a handful of house shows and TV matches. Instead, his matches are saved for PLEs, as he is WWE’s biggest draw today. His last TV match was on the December 30, 2022 episode of SmackDown, when he and Sami Zayn put over John Cena and Kevin Owens in a tag team match. That will change next month.

Dr. Chris Featherstone of SportsKeeda, who has broken past stories, reports Reigns is currently scheduled to compete on the WWE Raw Netflix debut episode. It’s unclear who his opponent will be against, although he’s been feuding with Solo Sikoa and the rest of the New Bloodline in recent months so it could be a singles match against one of the Bloodline members.

The premiere episode of WWE Raw on Netflix will be held on January 6th at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and John Cena are among those advertised for the show.

The Rock is slated for the show, while another big name has been discussed for an appearance.
