Following his surprise return to WWE last week, Roman Reigns has commented on the recent knee injury suffered by his rival, Seth Rollins. In a new vlog documenting his comeback, Reigns stated that while he doesn’t wish injury on anyone, he sees Rollins’ setback as potential “karma.”
Reigns on Rollins’ Injury: ‘I Believe In That Karma’
Reigns addressed the situation with the man his former “wise man,” Paul Heyman, chose to align with. He made it clear that he would have preferred to deal with Rollins himself.
“The man that Paul Heyman, my former wise man, chose to ride with.. doesn’t look good, man. I don’t really want to speak on that because I believe in that karma, so I want to see how that plays out,” Reigns said. “Obviously, we have not been on good terms for a long time. I don’t wish injury on anybody, cause I’d rather him just be here so I can whoop his ass myself. I prefer a healthy little bitch so I can smack him up.”
‘I’m Still The Tribal Chief’
In the vlog, Reigns also reasserted his status as a leader, stating that he is back to reclaim his position at the top of the company. His return on the July 14th episode of Raw saw him attack Rollins’ allies, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
“I’m always looking for the keys to the kingdom. I’m owed an army the way I look at it, so I’m still the tribal chief. I’m still fit to lead. Believe that,” he declared.
Roman Reigns is scheduled to appear live on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw from Houston, Texas, where he will likely address his return and future plans in person. Meanwhile, the status of Seth Rollins remains uncertain.
