Roman Reigns sounds off on where Conor McGregor would fit in WWE
Former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns recently made an appearance on ESPN Deportes where he talked about a wide range of pro wrestling related topics.
During the interview, he was asked where he thinks former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor would fit in the WWE. This is where he stated that the UFC star would fit well on the 205 Live brand.
This comes after McGregor announced his retirement from MMA earlier this week. There is speculation that McGregor announced his retirement as a negotiation tactic while in talks with the UFC for his next fight.
If WWE did reach a deal for McGregor to come in it wouldn’t be on the cruiserweight show but rather on their flagship show, Monday Night Raw.
Reigns stated, “We got the best spot on 205 Live. He is a cruiserweight, no doubt, and we’ll let him go in there and flip with all those guys.”
