Roman Reigns stable getting a new member?

This week on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Apollo Crews was seen sitting with Roman Reigns during a backstage segment in what appeared to be seeds being planted to add a new member to Reigns’ stable.

There were hints in this direction last Saturday on Talking Smack when Paul Heyman had a talk with Crews to motivate him after his loss to Intercontinental Champion Big E.

This week on SmackDown, Crews used heel tactics to defeat Sami Zayn with a handful of tights. Crews will get a rematch next week against Big E for the Intercontinental Title on SmackDown.

Back in October, WrestlingNews.co first reported about the long-term plans for Reigns’ stable with Jimmy Uso expected to join when he’s cleared to wrestle and others expected to be added. Daniel Bryan is among some in the company who have been urging WWE management to do more with Crews. There were plans for Crews to turn heel last year but those plans were nixed. It looks like they are moving forward with the heel turn this time.
