In a new interview, “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns has named his favorite opponent and favorite moment from his legendary WWE career. When asked for his all-time favorite opponent, Reigns named his longtime rival, “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar.
Roman Reigns Names His Favorite Opponent
During a rapid-fire Q&A session for ESPN, Roman Reigns was asked to name his favorite opponent. “Favorite all-time opponent? Brock Lesnar,” Reigns answered without hesitation. “My whole career changed once I got in the ring with him.”
The two behemoths have a storied history, headlining WrestleMania against each other three separate times. Their most recent encounter was in the main event of SummerSlam in 2022.
A Reign For The Ages
When asked to name his favorite moment, Reigns couldn’t pick just one. Instead, he chose his entire record-breaking 1,316-day championship reign. “My 1,316-day title reign,” he said. “I can’t just pick one, there were so many moments in that. Just that reign alone is unprecedented.”
Reigns’ comments came while he was at ESPN to promote WWE’s new partnership with the network. He is now feuding with Seth Rollins on Raw, with his next appearance scheduled for the August 18 episode of the show. The full Q&A session with Roman Reigns can be found on ESPN’s digital platforms.
