Roman Reigns is not looking in the rearview mirror but rather looking forward to the future.
Reigns initially rose to fame as “The Big Dog,” winning multiple championships and being the company’s top babyface, but the character failed to resonate with fans. It was widely rejected before his successful “Tribal Chief” persona.
He introduced the character in 2020 after a multiple-month hiatus from the company. While speaking to IGN, Reigns said that The Big Dog is dead and doesn’t even exist.
“There is no big dog. He’s dead now. I don’t even see the other guy. He doesn’t even exist. It doesn’t- didn’t happen.”
Reigns is expected to make a return to television next month, ahead of WrestleMania 41.
