A new report has shed light on the earnings of WWE’s top talent. The conversation around top-level contracts was recently fueled by comments from former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman, who suggested that TKO Group Holdings had asked top star Roman Reigns to restructure his deal or take a pay cut.
However, according to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, those stories are false. The report confirms a healthy number of high earners.
It also solidifies Reigns’ position as the company’s highest-paid full-time performer. Dave Meltzer wrote:
“As far as income goes, there are seven WWE performers earning well over $5 million per year and two others who may also hit that figure this year. Aside from The Rock, the highest-paid is Reigns. Whatever stories that went around from Jonathan Coachman that TKO asked Reigns to take a pay cut or restructure his deal are false.”
