During his latest appearance on the Sunday Night’s Main Event radio show/podcast, Dave Meltzer was asked to elaborate more on the reports about Roman Reigns’ getting a reduced schedule. Meltzer was asked about the report about Reigns drastically cutting back on house shows and some pay-per-view events. He was also asked if Reigns is beginning to enter a TV-only mode and if he will only do the major shows, such as the MSG events.
Meltzer said, “less than that.” He added, “I think it’s gonna be a little more than [Brock] Lesnar but very similar to Lesnar in the sense that he will do big pay-per-views like the stadium shows and he will do the TV’s to build the big pay-per-views. He may do a shot here and there like Lesnar did. Lesnar did a few house shows here and there.”
As noted last week, Reigns is not advertised for Hell in a Cell pay-per-view that will happen on Sunday, June 5th. Instead, Cody Rhodes is the main wrestler advertised for the show. Rhodes is also the main person being advertised for the Money In The Bank show in July. Last Friday on SmackDown, WWE pushed the RK-Bro vs. Usos feud but there was no hint given on who Reigns would be wrestling next. Reigns has been pulled from many upcoming live events where he was scheduled for matches against Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley.

It’s unclear what Reigns will be doing at the Money In The Bank PPV but it was reported last week that Reigns is scheduled for a major match against Drew McIntyre at the Clash at the Castle show on 9/3 in Cardiff, Wales.
