Ron Killings Lashes Out At Criticism In Heated NSFW Response

Ron Killings has been a major topic of conversation since he dropped his “R-Truth” character on the June 9 edition of Raw. Some have criticized Killings for his promo, leading to a strong response from him.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray discussed Killings’ segment on Raw where he cut his hair. Bully Ray stated that once Killings stopped using the “Truth” name and became Ron Killings, it made no sense for him to revert to saying “the whole truth and nothing but the truth.”

Ray felt that after Killings cut his hair on live TV, which represented the “Truth” character, he should have moved on completely. He argued that if Killings wants to be taken seriously, he should not bring up his past.

“When he got away from ‘Truth’ and became Ron Killings, then went back to saying ‘the whole truth and nothing but the truth,’ I didn’t want to hear that last night. Once you cut your hair off, I never wanted to hear the name ‘Truth’ again. Don’t remind me of what you were trying to get away from. You cut your hair in front of the world because that hair represented ‘Truth.’ I don’t want to hear it anymore. You’re Ron Killings. End of story. Forget the taglines about the truth. No more bringing it up.”

Killings responded to Ray’s criticism with a rant, asking who Bully Ray was to tell him who he is. Killings said he knows exactly who he is and doesn’t need anyone else to define him. He stated he’s no longer playing the “nice guy” and is now in control. He clarified he’s not angry, but he’s done being taken advantage of. He asserted that things will be different moving forward.

“Who the f*** is he talking to? Who’s he to tell me who I am? I know who I am. I’m protecting him. Everyone has someone trying to tell them who the f*** they are. I know who I am. I’m not the nice one. I’m driving now. Don’t let anybody tell you who you are—you know you better than anybody…..They better put some respect on my f****** name, because I am the Truth. So help me. How you gonna tell me why I cut my hair? I do what I want to do. This ain’t the nice version of me anymore. But I’m not angry—I just won’t be taken advantage of no more. Things are going to change. I’m driving now.”

Killings added that many people try to dictate how others live, feel, and act, but he controls his own life. He feels more alive and self-assured than ever, and he is now driving his own story.
