Ronda Rousey “Despised” Vince McMahon By The End Of Her WWE Run

Ronda Rousey has made it very clear in various ways that she’s not looking to make a return to WWE after two separate runs with the company.

Feelings known

Rousey sent out a tweet a few months ago regarding Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard, giving her thoughts on McMahon’s resignation from TKO following the lawsuit filed against him by Janel Grant. She said McMahon will still have a say in the business through longtime WWE exec Bruce Prichard, who has been a strong supporter of McMahon over the years.

In her autobiography, Rousey lets her feelings about McMahon be known and goes off on him. She also mentioned in WWE, “There was by all accounts a casting couch culture where men backstage in powerful positions pressured female talent for sexual favors in return for airtime.”’

Last run

In a recent interview, Rousey revealed she had to cut out on the trash talk she intended to share about Prichard and former WWE executive John Laruantis in her book.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that a person close to the situation said, “Rousey felt that WWE was a misogynistic culture and by the time she left, despised Vince but remained friendly with Stephanie and had positive things to say about Paul Levesque.”

It was added that while she despised Vince, “she, to this day, loves [UFC President] Dana White.”
